Both my mom and dad's family is originally from the area, but they had moved to Memphis to work in the aviation industry. I returned to the Carroll county, TN area in 2023 and opened DohFee in Hollow Rock TN. in 2024, but experienced a devastating fire, resulting in a total loss.  When considering reopening, i noted the impending departure of the local restaurant in the area, and the lack of restaurants in the immediate area.

The decision was made to try again, but by opening as a traditional restaurant, thus offering more than the DohFee footprint as a coffee shop.  We integrated the Smokies team with the DohFee concept and formed Kenny' Place of Tennessee, thus providing your new home for DohFee and Smokies.

Now offering great Smokies Pork BBQ, along with the DohFee offering of a coffee shoppe, donuts and ice cream.

For those of us who remember Clyde's BBQ in Bruceton... from years ago... well, I am from his family and possess his original sauce recipes, and have added them as an option for your BBQ sandwiches, just specify Smokies or Uncle Clyde's Sauce.
